History In A Nutshell
0.0/5 rating (0 votes)
Great commercial put out by Shell and Ferrari, also gives a great "history" of the sport of Formula 1 letting you see how the cars have changed drastically. No not like having the old "daytona" wing on a Nascar to getting rid of it to the semi-functional peice of junk they have now. No no, the whole car changes getting faster and faster.
This is a vid of Ferrari's Felippe Massa and BMW Robert Kubica in 2007 going at it in Japan, contact does occur more than once and I have no idea how they held on to their cars.
Kind of an older video, but none the less you don't get to see burnouts in Forumula 1 like, ummmm - ever? Just kidding, but seriously that rubber, clutch and motor are freaking expensive!

White Hot!

Another demonstration of a Formula 1 engine. These cars depend heavily on the airflow around them for cooling, etc. and do not have electric fans for when they sit still. Enjoy WHITE HOT exhaust headers.
This is the madness that was brought to Formula 1 last year, most notably the first every night race. This year will feature two night races which should prove to be amazing.
So just in case your Viper wasn't fast enough, you can turbo it to speed your way to the nearest tree. Once you unwrap this puppy, it won't be Chistmas time...
This is an older F1 engine, good luck getting a shot of a current one, and is a 3.0L V10 producing 650+ HP. They turn out the lights so you can really see it.
